CPSC warns consumers to stop using FOTING pressure washers over shock and electrocution risk

September 24, 2026· Tools· Recalls of building materials and fitted appliances

CPSC says FOTING pressure washers sold online lack a ground-fault protection device at the plug and have a power cord too short for safe use. The maker has not agreed to a recall, so owners are told to stop using and destroy the units.

On September 24, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a product safety warning (No. 26-795) about FOTING pressure washers, models KLC-PRO150C, KLC-T3 and KLC-T2.

CPSC says the washers are missing a ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) at or near the plug and come with a power cord that is too short for safe use. Together these create a risk of electrocution and shock, which can be fatal or cause serious injury. The agency reports one case of a missing GFCI and six reports of a cord that was too short. No injuries have been reported. The page does not state how many units were sold.

The washers were sold on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, TikTok.com, Temu.com, Wayfair.com and eBay.com, for $85 to $266. They are made in China.

This is a warning, not a recall. CPSC says the manufacturer, Success Way Ltd., has not agreed to an acceptable recall. The agency tells consumers to stop using the pressure washers immediately, destroy them by unplugging them and cutting the cord, and dispose of them. It also says they should not be sold or given away.

Contractors and homeowners who use pressure washers for siding, deck and driveway cleaning can check the model number against the three listed here.
